Marco Materazzi, Italian orders of merit, (born August 19, 1973 in Lecce) is an Italy football (soccer) defender (football), who currently plays for Serie A club F.C. Internazionale Milano, sometimes known as Inter Milan. He was a part of the Italy national football team that won the 2006 FIFA World Cup, where in the final against France he scored a goal and later was headbutted by Zinedine Zidane, after having provoked him.
